Léonie Hampton began her trade age seven with a pink and purple point and push Le Clic camera. She is presently based in the UK and has upgraded to a serious looking camera. After graduating in Art History, she continued her studies in Photography at the London College of Communication. Her work is represented by the Kahmann Gallery, Amsterdam and has been exhibited internationally including the Centre Pompidou in Paris, MACRO and the Palazzo Delle Esposizione in Rome, and Foam Museum in Amsterdam. Léonie is a part-time teacher for the Photojournalism and Documentary Photography MA at London College of Communication. She co-founded and runs Still/Moving, a not-for-profit organisation that runs photography and film workshops and seminars.
